Match: Rosso Nero FC vs. Tom & Best Friends

As matchday approached, the lineup was locked in and looking strong, headlined by the welcome return of Amir to the squad.

However, late the night before, we received the call every team dreads: Tom and Best Friends were unable to field a side and issued a forfeit.

While the automatic points are banked, the unexpected week off gives the squad a chance to rest up and clear lingering knocks and bruises.

In Loving Memory of Vincenzo Catina

This weeks fixture was set to hold special significance for our club. We were scheduled to wear black armbands following the heartbreaking news that one of our major sponsors and owner of NTC best mates father had passed away. Funeral services for Vincenzo Catina will be held on Friday, August 7th.

On behalf of everyone at Rosso Nero FC, we extend our deepest sympathies, love, and condolences to the Catina family during this incredibly difficult time. The club will stand as one and wear black armbands in his honor during next week’s match instead.
