Rosso Nero FC making it to the first Grand Final, went all the way winning 6 goals to 5.
What a game this was.... Rosso Nero FC going up by 4 goals in the first 10 minutes. Controlling the game, passing the ball and plenty of player movement on the court.
Rosso Nero FC running the opposition off the court. Seb Ienco MVP of the night scoring the goals with his left and right. Rosso Nero FC went to half time 4 goals to 1 up.
Second half was a different story. Rosso Nero FC took the foot off the peddle and the opposition stepped it up, going in hard and putting alot of pressure on the ball carrier. The pressure got to Rosso Nero FC and it lead to a swing in goals. With 5 minutes remaining the scores were tired at 5 all.
The pressure and tackles heated up, as tackles were coming from everywhere. The referee controlling the game well and picking up the fouls but it didn't stop the tackles getting harder.
With a few minutes left Seb stole the ball and shot with his right foot for the match winner.
With seconds remaining the opposition tried a late counter which lead Danny Natoli (goal keeper) making a last ditch 1 on 1 save and the followed up with a hit from two opposition players, with one getting him on his hip and the other with his foot (formally known as studs showing) in his groin....
As the final whistle blew, the final tackle brought both teams together as words were exchanged.
Danny was left finding his left n#t for the next 10 minutes... The players are treated as family, we did offer to rub it down with deep heat, but Danny declined...
