Emotion, adversity, milestones, and a trademark Rosso Nero FC comeback that felt written in our DNA.
đź–¤ Black Armband Night
Tonight carried extra weight. Current player Joel suffered the loss of a close family member last week. Our deepest condolences to Joel and his family — the entire Rosso Nero FC family stands with you.
Line‑Up Shake‑Up
Injuries hit hard: Dan, Christian and Amir sidelined, and Maz unavailable with work.
But Rosso Nero FC never walks alone — Drilon, Adem, and the returning Marcus (first game of the season!) stepped in and delivered.
And on top of all that…🎯 CJ’s 100th Game. Our first player to hit triple digits. A massive milestone and a testament to consistency, leadership, and heart.
⚔️ 1st vs 2nd — Best Attack vs Best Defence
The storyline wrote itself.
The only question: who would land the final blow?🔥 First HalfLallanas came out firing — physical, high pressure, and aggressive. Rosso Nero FC started more relaxed, absorbing the tempo rather than matching it early.Their high line caused issues, giving them the first few looks on goal, but our defence held firm.
Once we settled, we controlled possession and created three strong chances, but couldn’t convert. The battle shifted to the midfield. Lallanas triple‑teamed Fatlind every time he touched the ball, refusing to let him breathe. Both sides traded attacks, both sides threatened, neither side broke through. Then came the moment:
A switch from Joel didn’t hit the target, Lallanas pounced, and a one‑on‑one finish slid through CJ’s legs. One mistake, one goal. 0–1.Rosso Nero FC responded immediately, peppering the goal for the next five minutes, but their keeper stood tall. The half closed out physical, tense, and still very much alive.🗣️ Half‑Time MessageStay physical. Stay composed. Keep taking chances.
We knew we’d score. We knew they’d crack.
Just finish.🚀 Second Half — The Rosso Nero FC SpiritFrom kickoff, we hit another gear. Wave after wave of attack pinned Lallanas deep. Then football delivered one of its cruel jokes:
A blocked shot looped high, dropped awkwardly, hit the post, bounced off CJ’s back, and rolled in. A pure fluke. 0–2 with 11 minutes left. But this club doesn’t fold.
This club responds. The ComebackFrom the restart: goal.
Pressure released. Momentum flipped.Next attack: goal.
Sweet passing, calm finish.Next attack: long ball from Drilon → Fatlind’s header → bottom corner.
Suddenly 3–2. Lallanas rattled. Arguments everywhere. Seven minutes left. They struck back with a powerful left‑footer off the upright. 3–3. Five minutes left. The Knockout BlowRosso Nero FC went bang — three goals in three attacks.
The final one? Possibly the team goal of the season: one‑touch passing from back to front, finished first‑time past the keeper. Perfection.Lallanas grabbed one late, but the night belonged to us.Final Score: Rosso Nero FC 6 – 4 Lallanas in Pyjamas❤️ A Night of HeartA brilliant game. A resilient performance. A never‑say‑die attitude.
On a night dedicated to Joel and his family, the team showed up with spirit, unity, and purpose.🎥 HighlightsUp on YouTube soon.
