Final game of season before finals...

What an exciting game this was.

Playing a team Rosso Nero FC played twice already this season (Grading and 5 weeks ago) Rosso Nero FC started the game well.

With Marcus back in the line up and Brett playing his second game for the team, we had our strongest line up for the season.

The first 10 minutes was playing in the forward half for Rosso Nero FC. With slick passing, great movement and excellent team work. Rosso Nero FC had many changes from both close range and long. Each time the opposition keeper made finger tip saves. All shots were on target in the opening 10 minutes (ok all but one from our excellent keeper Danny, view utube for the clearance)... After the first 10 minutes the opposition started to get their feet, but Rosso Nero FC stepped up their game and scored the first goal of the game by Seb. It was great pressure from seb in the forward half which brought the goals. It lead to a quick goal agisnt the run of play. But Rosso Nero FC with 30 seconds left step up the pressure and scored a 2nd before the break.

Going into the break Rosso Nero FC lead two goals to one.

Knowing a win would kick the opposition out of the tip 4 in the last game, Rosso Nero FC stepped it up again in the 2nd half. With shots being fired from the left, the right and centre. The opposition keeper saved everything, even 1 on 1s.

This lead to some counter attacks agisnt the run of play, in which the opposition took advantage and scored 3 goals in the last 12 minutes.

It lead to a disappointing finish to the game for Rosso Nero FC who deserved something from the game.

End score was 4 goals to 2, but on another night Rosso Nero FC could have had 8 to 10 goals. Opposition keeper was their man of the match and won the game for them.

Onto last two games at HBF...

See you all next week.
