Celebrating Summer & Autumn Seasons!

What a cracker of a night we had celebrating two fantastic seasons of indoor futsal! It was great to get together, recognising the outstanding efforts and talent within the Rosso Nero FC ranks for both our Summer and Autumn campaigns.

Let's dive into who took home the gongs!

Summer Season Awards

The Summer season was a real nail-biter for the awards, with some incredible individual performances.

Salami Award

3rd Place: CJ (16 votes)

2nd Place: Gabe (26 votes)

1st Place: Alex (27 votes)

Gabe had a season to remember, even claiming all the votes in one week for the Salami award. But it was Alex who stormed home, snatching the title with a massive 10 votes in the final four games – a true late surge!

Champion Award

3rd Place (Tied): Alex, Danny & Seb (19 votes each)

2nd Place: Gabe (23 votes)

1st Place: Nuno (25 votes)

Early on, it looked like Gabe was going to run away with this one too. But Nuno put on a masterclass in consistency, reeling him in with 15 votes in the last five games to claim the top spot! What a finish!

Most Voted Player

3rd Place: Seb (34 votes)

2nd Place: Alex (46 votes)

1st Place: Gabe (49 votes)

Finally, Gabe broke through for his well-deserved first major award! This was a massive year for Gabe, and his dominant performance in the regular season was certainly missed when we got to the finals. Well done, mate!

Autumn Season Awards

The Autumn season brought its own set of standout performances and close finishes for the accolades.

Salami Award

3rd Place: Danny (19 votes)

2nd Place: Anthony (21 votes)

1st Place: Nathan (31 votes)

Our man Nathan led the charge, clinching the Salami award with a strong tally of 31 votes! Voting in every game he played.

Champion Award

3rd Place (Tied): Alex & Anthony (14 votes each)

2nd Place: Dan (27 votes)

1st Place: Nuno (31 votes)

Unbelievable! Nuno did it again, making it back-to-back-to-back Champion awards! This win was even more impressive considering he missed the first six games of the season. He absolutely steamed home, bagging votes in every single game he played to snatch the title. Legend!

Most Voted Player

3rd Place: Anthony (35 votes)

2nd Place: Nathan (40 votes)

1st Place: Dan (42 votes)

It came down to the wire for the Most Voted Player, with Dan securing the win in the very last game of the season! Nathan tried everything to snatch the MVP, even scoring a massive 6 votes in the final game without even playing – what a unique effort, but he just fell short. Congrats, Dan!
