Game 3 - Back to Back

Round 3 was a top of the table clash between the two best kitted out teams in Rosso Nero FC and Ravioli....

The game was built up all week with the team with chatter on who to ensure we marked out of the game and let's say the team was fired up from kick off... Not even a late message in the week from Seb saying he couldn't play this game, yet was able to once he sussed out the game time.

From the kick off, Rosso Nero FC took charge with ball control and attack after attack. In the first 3 minutes we had 5 shots, 4 on target and 1 goal to CJ. The next 9 minutes we scored from 3 more attacks, with goals to Seb, Alex and Gabe. Ravioli attacked many times, but the teams tight defending stop nearly everything and what the team didn't stop Danny was on hand in goals, making excellent saves when required.

Taking a 4 goal lead into half time, the team didn't stop. Attacking with 1, 2 passing and neat runs, Ravioli couldn't keep up. It was a game where everyone was on and the team chemistry came to the forefront.

Second half Danny again made some critical saves ensuring Rosso Nero FC went BACK TO BACK games for clean sheets. While the scoring continued for Nuno and Alex.

Final score was 6 goals to Nil, Rosso Nero FC win.

Excellent performance tonight.
