Summer 2027 - Grading Game 1

Matchup: Rosso Nero FC vs. Shmuel's Juices FC

Pre-Game & Lineup

Welcome to the new Summer 2027 season!

Heading into Grading Game 1 against a brand-new opponent in Shmuel's Juices FC, we were unsure of what to expect. Our starting lineup was originally set with Adem, Christian, CJ, Dan, Fati, and Joel.

However, drama struck just two hours before kick-off with two late withdrawals: Christian and Joel were ruled out. Step up Dril, returning from his long break, and Nic, who both slotted into the side to complete our matchday squad.

Shmuel’s Juices FC fielded a young and fit-looking side, but were limited to just 5 players with no substitutes.

First Half: Dominance & Control

From the opening whistle, Rosso Nero FC set the tempo. High pressure and quick ball movement immediately caused problems for Shmuel’s, leading to two early goals to put us 2–0 up.

Shmuel’s pulled one back on the counter, but Rosso Nero FC responded promptly with a neat team goal. A momentary lapse in defense allowed Shmuel’s to score their second from a corner via an unmarked man in the middle, but we quickly settled back into our rhythm, adding two more goals in quick succession.

Shmuel's grabbed a third with a neatly tucked-away finish as CJ rushed out to block the run.

From that point on, Rosso Nero FC completely took control - moving the opposition around with crisp passing and sharp combination play. The goals kept flying in, taking us into the interval with a commanding 10–3 lead at half-time.

Second Half: Goal Avalanche

The half-time team chat was straightforward: keep it simple, stay structured, and watch for their counter-attacks.

We executed the plan to perfection in the second half. Rosso Nero FC kept the intensity high, with goals distributed across the squad from Nic, Fati, Dril, Adem, and Dan, quickly stretching the lead to 18–3.

With 5 minutes left on the clock, Shmuel’s managed to find a 4th goal, tucking the ball away nicely at the far post. But Rosso Nero FC had the final say before the full-time whistle, as Fati, Dril, and Dan added three more to round out an emphatic 21–4 victory.
