Game 10 - New Year, Same Fight🔴⚫

A new year kicked off with some familiar challenges. With CJ and Dan still away on holidays, and Nuno and Gabe sidelined through injury and illness, Rosso Nero FC once again fielded a fresh-looking lineup.

For our first game of 2026, we welcomed Nathan out of retirement and back between the posts, supported by a patched-together but committed squad. Alessio, Sean, and Brett stepped up as covering players, joining Marcus and Seb to complete the lineup.

Despite the changes, the Rosso Nero FC spirit was on full display. We struck early, taking the lead inside the opening two minutes, only to give it back shortly after.

The response was exactly what you’d expect from this group — the team settled, found their rhythm, and rattled off four unanswered goals.

Heading into halftime with a 4–1 lead, confidence was high and rightly so. The dominance continued immediately after the break with another goal, before the sealer arrived with five minutes remaining.

We did concede a late goal, but the result was never in doubt as Rosso Nero FC closed out a strong 6–2 victory.
