Game 4. Win for Nonno Eugenio Magri

With Rosso Nero FC wearing black arm bands for Daniel and Marcus Natoli (RIP Nonno)... The team pulled together and rallied right to the last second.

From the get go Rosso Nero FC had a up heal battle playing a team we had lost too 3 times last season and currently top of the table.

In a hard fought 1st half the game was tight, with close marking and hard tackles from both teams... it took 15 minutes for the first goal, which went against Rosso Nero FC. Rosso Nero FC had many chances but the opposition keeper made save after save.

Half time the team got together and pushed each other to dig a little deeper and sure enough with 3 minutes of the 2nd half starting Rosso Nero FC drew level.

From here it was man marking and hard tackles from both with the opposition dropping to the floor every chance they got to win free kicks. It paid off as they scored off a free kick to take the lead again.

That didn't stop Rosso Nero FC from their passing game and again drew level from slick passing and an excellent shot. With 5 minutes left Rosso Nero FC pushed for a winner and on the counter got caught and a deflected shot lob over Danny in goals. This brought Rosso Nero FC 2 goal to 3 down...

Again Rosso Nero FC pushed and scored another equaliser with 2 minutes remaining.

That result wasn't good enough tonight and the players playing with Nonno on their side pushed for the winner... and sure enough with 35 seconds remaining Seb found a slick cut pass into the middle for his brother Alex to score the winner.

The winning goal brought everyone watching Rosso Nero FC to their feet with joy.

Well done Rosso Nero FC on a well deserved come from behind win. This game was played for Nonno Eugenio Magri. RIP
