Game 7 Match Report - Rosso Nero FC v Yep

Rosso Nero FC returned for Game 7 with a seven‑player lineup, welcoming back Gabe and Nuno after a week off, while Sean was unavailable for selection.

First Half – Tight, Physical, and Hard‑Fought

The opening half was a battle of intensity. Rosso Nero FC settled quickly, controlling possession, moving the ball with confidence, and absorbing the physical pressure from Yep. Despite our composure, Yep threatened with sharp counterattacks whenever they won the ball back.

Ten minutes in, the breakthrough arrived. Jayden opened the scoring with the first of what would become a memorable hat‑trick performance. But Yep responded instantly from the restart, unleashing a thunderbolt into the top corner—an unstoppable strike despite CJ’s best efforts.

Rosso Nero FC kept pushing, piling pressure on Yep’s keeper, and eventually Jayden struck again to restore the lead.

We went into halftime ahead 2–1.

Second Half – Dominance, Goals, and Late Chaos

The second half began just as the first ended: Rosso Nero FC dictating the tempo, creating chance after chance, and rattling the posts more than once.

Eight minutes in, the floodgates opened.

- Jayden completed his hat‑trick

- Alessio fired home

- Marcus added his name to the scoresheet

- And Jayden struck again for his fourth of the night

In a blistering spell, we surged to a 6–1 lead, leaving Yep visibly deflated.

But football loves drama.

With five minutes remaining, a defensive lapse allowed Yep to score their second. That goal sparked a sudden surge of energy from them, while Rosso Nero FC momentarily switched off defensively. Yep capitalised, scoring three quick goals in a matter of minutes to bring the scoreline to 6–5.

With two minutes left, Yep fired a dangerous shot toward the bottom corner, but CJ produced a brilliant diving save—redeeming himself for the earlier error and preserving the lead.

In the final moments, Rosso Nero FC slowed the game down, kept possession, and managed the clock expertly to secure the win.

Final Score: Rosso Nero FC 6 – 5 Yep

A thrilling match, a dominant performance with a chaotic finish, and another important win for the team.

See you all next week.
