Rd 1 Grading - Winter Season v Seaspray Goose

A brand new winter season kicked off this week — and with it, a brand new Rosso Nero FC.

Debuts to Amir, Christian, Dino and Adam, joining returning regulars CJ and Dan.

With Jon out sick and new recruits Fatlind and Mazen unavailable, it was still a strong first‑up line‑up that took the court.

And from the very first whistle, the new-look squad clicked.

First Half – Instant Chemistry, Instant Goals

Within minutes, the passing was sharp, the movement was clean, and the scoreboard started ticking.

A cheeky chip pass from Amir, silky touches and link‑up play from Christian, and suddenly we were 3–0 up inside five minutes.

The momentum didn’t stop there.

Debutants Dino and Adam added extra run, energy and skill, slotting seamlessly into the Rosso Nero style.

We pushed the pace, created chance after chance, and controlled the game end to end.

By halftime it was 5–0, though honestly, the score didn’t quite reflect how free‑flowing and dominant the football was.

Halftime message: Keep going — and let’s try a few corner routines.

Second Half – Corners, Class and Confidence

Straight after the break, the plan paid off.

A well‑worked corner, the trademark second run, and boom — 6–0.

From there, the tricks came out.

Lobs, through balls, flicks, one‑touch combinations — everything was working.

It was fun, confident, expressive futsal.

We pushed out to 7–0, before Seaspray grabbed one back.

Seconds later we answered with our eighth, and shortly after, our ninth.

Final score: 9–2

A brilliant first outing for the winter season.
