🔴⚫ Rosso Nero FC Weekly Wrap – Game 2 vs 007 🔥

Final Score: Rosso Nero FC 12 – 007 FC 5

What a week it was for Rosso Nero FC as we took the field for Game 2 with a new-look lineup and some late game-day changes that didn’t faze the squad one bit.

With Gabe and Gianluca late outs, we had to make some last-minute adjustments. Sean and Brett stepped up as replacements and slotted right in. Special mention to Marcus, who made a long-awaited return to the team after more than two seasons on the sideline — a welcome sight for the Rosso Nero faithful.

We also had a milestone moment as Alessio made his club debut — and what a debut it was!

⚽ Match Recap

Brett started in goals, allowing CJ to get his first run on the field in close to eight months. It didn’t take long for Rosso Nero FC to click into gear.

With crisp, simple passing and a solid defensive structure, we found rhythm early and struck twice in quick succession to go 2-0 up. A dominant 5-minute stretch saw us control possession and tempo, capped off by a third goal — a classic team effort.

We maintained pressure and continued to control the game, heading into halftime with a strong 5–1 lead.

🧠 Halftime Talk

Coach Pius and Assistant Danny gave a quick pep talk:

"Keep going boys!"

…followed by the ambitious call of “Double digits win!” — only to then realise it was a grading match. Cue the correction:

“Actually, slow it down a bit.” 😅

🔁 Second Half

The second half mirrored the first in many ways — dominant play, smart passing, and relentless pressure.

Although tired legs crept in, 007 FC managed the first goal of the half. But Rosso Nero responded in style, netting four more before easing off the gas. With the game under control, the team slowed the tempo (as per Danny’s instructions), and 007 grabbed two more late goals.

It was a full team performance with impressive contributions across the board.

Standouts included:

Nuno and Marcus – Led from the front with control, strength and composure.

Sean, Brett, and CJ – Slotted in seamlessly and made strong impacts all over the pitch.
