Match Summary

Lineup: Adem, Christian, CJ, Dan, Dril, and Fati

1st Half: Clinical Start & Early Dominance

From the opening whistle, Rosso Nero FC looked sharp, fast, and precise. After a close miss in the opening seconds, the pressure paid off quickly. A rapid passing sequence and a clean switch of play set up an open-goal tap-in to break the deadlocks. Moments later, intense pressure on the kick-off forced a turnover, leading to a carbon-copy attack and another simple finish at the far post.

Pump 3 Diesel responded with a strong spell of attack, but our defense held firm with key blocks before CJ made a crucial double save in goal. Off the resulting corner, CJ turned away a low cross with his leg, sparking a rapid counter-attack through Fati, Dril, and Dan. Neat combination play ended in a low finish to make it 3–0.

Despite striking the timber multiple times and sending a few clear chances wide, our relentless movement yielded a 4th goal with 5 minutes left in the half. A late defensive error allowed Pump 3 to pull one back on the break, sending us into halftime with a 4–1 lead.

Halftime Message: Keep the ball moving, track the runners, and clinical finish our chances!

2nd Half: The 18-Goal Rollercoaster

Pump 3 Diesel came out fired up, scoring two quick goals to narrow the gap to 4–3. Rosso Nero FC steadied the ship to restore a brief buffer, but Pump 3 kept pressing. A pair of quick strikes - including a top-corner rocket - tied the game up at 5–5 with 10 minutes remaining.

With our passing momentarily stalling, Pump 3 capitalised on the momentum, dipping a long-range effort in to take their first lead at 6–5 with 8 minutes to play.

That wake-up call reignited our squad's trademark fighting spirit. A smooth team move leveled the scoring at 6–6 just two minutes later. The back-and-forth drama continued as Pump 3 struck back-to-back goals to go up 8–6 with 5 minutes on the clock - injuring CJ's hip in the process, but was able to continue.

Refusing to back down, the boys rallied once more:

8–7: Quick response to cut the deficit to one.

8–8: Calm finish off sustained pressure with 2 minutes left.

9–8: A brilliant team goal capped by a smooth tap-in to reclaim the lead with just 60 seconds on the clock.
