Round 6 Game week 3 - Rosso Nero FC v NeoCats

After a bye round, Rosso Nero FC returned to action in Game week 3 against the ladder leaders, NeoCats. Despite missing Gabe (exam season!), we welcomed Jayden back for his second game and Nuno back in after a week off.

The NeoCats came out flying in the first half with pace and pressure, but it was Rosso Nero FC who struck first — twice! Two beautifully worked team goals, built from quick one-touch passing, smart switching of play, and clinical finishing.

Then came something… unusual. A back pass from Dan, at hip height and just a few metres from our keeper, found its way into the back of the net. Own goal? Maybe. A mysterious assist to the other side? We’ll never know.

But we didn’t dwell on it — straight from kickoff, Seb unleashed a thunderous left-foot strike that the keeper never even saw. That goal set the tone as Rosso Nero FC settled in, piling on the pressure and adding three more goals from Jayden and Dan. NeoCats grabbed a late one before the break, but we went into halftime 6–2 up.

The second half started just as strong. Jayden found the net from wide, followed by goals from Dan and Seb as we took control of the game. The NeoCats kept fighting and pulled one back after a tough clearance from our keeper gave them an opening — even though CJ got a strong hand to it, the shot was too powerful to stop.

From there, it was all Rosso Nero FC. The team kept the ball moving, shared it around, and finished the game with another four goals — sealing a 13–3 statement win.

Every player contributed, the teamwork was spot on, and the passing, switching, and finishing were next level. A complete performance from start to finish.

Final Score: Rosso Nero FC 🟥⚫ 13 – 3 NeoCats

Brilliant team effort all around. 💪

See you all next week!
