Season 2 - Game 1 Grading

What a start to the new season....And not the start we were looking for...

Rosso Nero FC starting super slow and sluggish...

The first goal scored by yours truly in the wrong net within the first 2 minutes of the game set the tone. From a great save by Daniel Natoli the ball flicked up hit my chest and went in the back of the net as an own goal...

It set the tone for the first half, with another soft goal soon after and then another deflected own goal shortly after.... The movement and normal slick passing was missing, when we did get going we scored our first goal... Gabes taking on the defence, laying it off to Tristan who scored a neat goal... Rosso Nero FC were down 4 goals to 1 at half time...

2nd half Rosoo Nero FC woke up, peppering the goals but not able to score past the keeper... as legs tired and run missing from Rosso Nero FC. On the counter another shot from the opposition was deflected by Rosso Nero FC and wrong footed Daniel in goals.

Final goal to Rosso Nero FC was goal of the night, slick passing and movement between Gabes and Alex who scored a lovely team goal.

Final score was 5 goals to 2. Rosso Nero FC going down in the first grading game.

It was an off night for the team and with 3 deflected own goals it wasn't meant to be tonight.
